The conference has come to an end successfully. About 70 participants from 6 countries have listened to interesting lectures and had lively and serious discussions. The next NAROSSA® takes place in Poznan on June 6th and 7th, 2011.

For the first time prices for best lecture and best poster were awarded to young scientists – both prices carried a value of 200 euros. The Polish PhD-student Malgorzata Lochynska from the institute of natural fibers and medicinal plants in Poznan has been honoured for her lecture about the various utilisation possibilities of mulberry cultures and silkworms. The Best-Lecture-Price was sponsored by the University of Applied Sciences, Centre of Life Sciences in Bernburg, Germany. The Czech PhD-student Miroslava Vrbova from the Agritec Ltd. Sumperk has been honoured for her poster about the development of transgenic flax. The Best-Poster-Price was sponsored by the NAROSSA e.V., Germany.
